Functional material coatings: We are concentrating on the identification of selective peptide binding domains for various material surfaces e.g. metals or printed paper regions. Thereby, bioinspired mechanisms such as enzymatic activation of mussel glue inspired adhesives as well as chemical tools for the functionalization of selective coatings are explored. |
